You perhaps do not believe or amazed with the title of this article. This is based on the true story. Let me explain about it.

A young man went to Andrew Carnegie – the richest steel company billionaire in US in his age. The young man offered him the guaranteed simple success formula that could increase his income. But he wanted spectacular amount of money in return. He wanted US $100,000. And Carnegie agreed and made a deal with him if the formula was successfully proven. And after using this secret formula given by the young man for a month, he admitted the effectiveness of it. He then paid the young man amount of money as the agreement. Do you wonder what the formula is?

The formula of the success secret is so simple. Everybody can do it. The formula is telling you to write down 5 important things you want to do or accomplish tomorrow based on the priority. Sort them from the highest priority down to the lowest priority. Then, you must set strong commitment to finish them from the highest one. If you, for example, can only finish 3 things on that day, you must do the remaining two things the next day plus with 3 new-setting things. So, in one day, you have 5 things to do daily. You must commit it. Once again, write 5 things, sort them out and take commitment. It’s simple, right?

If Carnegie paid a large amount of money, that meant he had felt and proved it. So, what are you waiting for? Your success depends on your daily decisions. Choose your decisions that lead you into success and finish what you have committed.

If you visit New York City or if you live there, you should have known well a famous bridge named Brooklyn Bridge. But, do you know the history behind the bridge? I think you have to learn from it. In 1883, John Roebling had a dream to build a bridge that connected New York and Long Island. Many thought that his idea was too crazy. They suggested him to forget about that. But, he didn’t care and he had strong belief that he would finish the project. He then got his son, Washington, to help him.

After a few months, a tragic accident occurred and cost Roebling’s life. His son had serious brain damage and caused him incapable of talking and walking and even making a small move. But once again, Washington did never think about stopping the project that was in progress. He still had burning desire to realize his dreams. With his wife’s assistance, he told his engineers the next steps to do. This happened for almost 13 years until the bridge had been successfully and amazingly built. His attitude made him capable of passing the hardest time and reaching the winning time. Perhaps we will never be able to see the bridge if he was giving up and stopping the project.

Now, ask yourself, do you have something you wish to finish or accomplish, but you put it off and stop? If you do, remember Washington on the story above. He kept on going ahead no matter his condition that time. I believe you do not have worse condition than he did. Perhaps his dream was bigger than you. If he succeeded in realizing his visions, why you must stop? If he could, you can, too. So, there is no reason for you to bury your dreams. Your dreams deserve to be fought for. Do not let failure or anything make you stop. Keep on going ahead. Never stop until you succeed.

One of the significant differences between the successful and unsuccessful ones is the dreams. They have their success because they have big dreams to be reached and accomplished. Their dreams make them unleash their effort to achieve what those are unsuccessful could not do. The dreams make people go ahead to advancement and wonderful achievement. Everything that we see in this world is created by dreams. The dreams come true because some people commit to do everything to make it into reality. Only the dreams that make people go and fly further than other people do.

But, there are too many people who are incapable of achieve what they dream and wish because they are not brave enough to dream. They are afraid if their dreams will never be able to come into reality. They are afraid of failing in accomplishing them.

Please take a look at the poem by Julie Anne Ford below. Read it and understand it.

Let nothing hold you back from

exploring your wildest fantasies, wishes and aspirations.

Don’t be afraid to dream big

and to follow your dreams wherever they may lead you.

Open your eyes to their beauty;

open your mind to their magic;

open your heart to their possibilities.

Dare to dream.

Whether they are in color or in black and white,

whether they are big or small,

easily attainable or almost impossible,

look to your dreams,

and make them become reality.

Wishes and hopes are nothing until you take the first step

towards making them something!

Dare to dream,

because only by dreaming, you will ever discover

who you are, what you want, and what you can do.

Don’t be afraid to take risks,

to become involved, to make commitment.

Do whatever it takes to make your dreams come true.

Always believe in miracles, and always believe in you!

Don’t be afraid to dream as high as you want. Don’t be afraid of failure. Don’t be afraid to take the risks because there are always risks in everything you do, and believe that you will achieve your dreams. Big dreams, big achievement.

One day, there was a man standing on a bridge. He stood at the side of the bridge and planning to commit suicide by jumping down to the river. He was in despair because he could no more to face his life because of too many burdens he must took. His business was in total bankruptcy, his wife wanted to divorce him and his family was broken.

Suddenly, there was a beggar passing him by and asked for some money to buy some food to eat. And without thinking for long, the man took his money out of his pocket and gave it to the beggar. After thanking to the man, he asked him, “Sorry, sir. Why are you here? What are you doing on this bridge?” And the man spoke slowly, “I am bored with my life and I want to end my own life by jumping down to the river.”

Then the beggar immediately gave the money back to the man and said, “Sorry, I can’t take money from a coward like you. Look at me! I am a beggar, with no money, no family and no friend. But I’ve never thought even once to end my life. In fact, there is a man worse than I am. See you.”

Finally, he was aware of what the beggar said and decided not to follow his plan. He then thanked to the beggar.

Message for readers:

Everyday and every time, we always have some problems or troubles visiting us. No matter who you are, there is nobody free from them. But the problem is there are some people who can face their problems and then find the way to solve them, and the others are trapped by them and then feel depressed.

One of the good thinking or mindset is that you have to realize that problems or troubles are not designed to make you down or to make you weaker. They are designed and come to your life to make you better than you are today. Because when you face your problems and succeed in solving them, you will be more confident enough to face others and make you stronger and better.

You can ask successful people and you will find out that they have their own problems too. But they consider and believe that the problems are positive things that can unleash their true power and capacity to find the way to solve them and make themselves grow up high.

No matter what or how many problems you have, face it, solve it and see yourself grow better and stronger than you are today. Behind success, there is failure. Behind problems, there is a positive thing you can take.
