I recently watched the movie “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan”. Zohan, starred by Adam Sandler, is a top Israeli commando whose job is to chase the terrorist.
But, he fakes his own death just to quit from his recent job and to pursue his dream. His dream is to become a famous hairstylist in
No matter what they say, Zohan keep going to
Day after day when he can’t find his friend in salon and have no job, he then visit an electronic shop to meet his friend. His friend warmly welcomes him. But after Zohan says he wants to work, his friend rejects him.
He then points to three employees. He says that one of them comes to
And he finally works with a Palestinian girl named Dalia. Soon after he works, the salon becomes so famous and many people, especially women come there to have their hair cut. He then marries her and they together open a new salon.
We are often trapped by our daily activities. We are so busy that makes us forget our dreams. We are too comfortable in our zone, in the place where we stay. This comfort situation makes our dreams fade. We will soon forget what we want to be, to have and to do in our life.
It is not so easy because it will cost our comfort to get out of where we stay to where we want to go. It needs big sacrifice. Many people are not ready to encounter a sudden change. If they want to pursue their dreams, it will mean they must walk out of their recent comfort zone. That makes many people rather choose to be what they are today than choose to be what they want to be.
The important lesson for you is: don’t let your dream buried deep down because of your comfortable life. Your dream is worth to be pursued and achieved, don’t make it just a dream. Make it happens. Your dream or success is lying outside your comfort zone. You just need to be brave enough to get out of it.
Its not often that you find such clearness of depiction and range of ideas. Well written.
