Motivation – Pay the price for success

One day, there was a young man who had high ambition to be a top professional golf player. He always dreamed about being the golf champion in every competition he participated. He knew that if he wanted to be a top professional golfer, he had to ask the top famous golf player about being great in playing golf. So, he searched for the one who was the greatest golf player. And luckily, he finally found him. And then, the young man set the plan to meet the golfer to get some of his valuable advice.

The young man asked the golfer, “Hi, sir. Excuse me, I know that you are one of the greatest golf players I’ve ever known. I have a dream to be like you, a professional golf player. Would you like to tell me what you have done to be like you are today? Please give me some advice or suggestions?” Then the golfer smiled at him and then told him, “I am glad hearing that you want to be a good golf player. I will tell you what I usually do to be a great player. Every morning, you should take exercise to hit the golf ball at least 500 times. Then take a rest for a while and hit the ball for more 500 times. Do this continuously until you hit the ball 2000 times. And you should to this every day, 7 days a week, no days off. This is routine activity you must do to be a great player.”

Listening to what the golfer had said, the young man took a bow and said sadly, “I think I couldn’t do that.” And then he went away.

Many people want to achieve success. But, there is a price you must pay to achieve that. In sale or purchase, if you want something, you must pay the price of the things before you can get it. Success has the same way in sale. If you want success, you must pay the price. Many people do not want to pay the price of success because they think that it is too expensive or they think that they can’t afford that.

Many people were so motivated to achieve success, but they soon forget their dreams after knowing the price of that. They even do not try to pay the price. If you want to be successful, you must work harder and go longer that anyone else. If you do more, you will get more. Perhaps you have heard this proverb, “NO PAIN, NO GAIN.” If you try to avoid the pain, you will gain nothing. Only the successful people want to get up from their dreams and want to work hard to pay the price for success.

Successful people focus on paying the price to achieve what they desire and unsuccessful people avoid it so they must pay the price later, failure. If you want to have ideal shape of body, you must pay the price by doing sports and control what you eat. If you want to be a star in your work, you must work harder to achieve that, if you want to get high ranking in university or school, you must study harder and more often than anyone else.

Success belongs to everyone who is willing to pay the price. Nothing is free in this world. Pay the price and success is yours.
