Daily motivation - July 26, 2008
Norman Vincent Peale in his book PLUS FACTOR, talked about his experience when he was on the journey in Hongkong. He walked on a tight alley and was interested when his eyes shot a shop that offered tattoo carving. There were so many kinds of nice tattoo models, but he was silent and did keep quiet when he saw a tattoo model with word “Born To Lose”.
Being interested with that unique tattoo model, he then asked the shop owner whether there was someone wanted to order this model. And the shop owner replied, “Yes. There were some people asking me to carve tattoo on their body with this word.” Listening to the answer, he shook his head as a sign of not believing there were some crazy people who wanted to do that. Then the shop owner spoke in English not-so-fluently while he was clapping his forehead and said, “Before tattoo on body, tattoo on mind.” That means before they carved tattoo on their body, they had carved tattoo on their mind first.
It is absolutely true that what you are thinking about will affect your feeling and that’s something that affects you in making decision to take action. Your success begins when you have first made a tattoo on your mind with word like “I am successful”. Your success begins when you are able to feel and see your success even if it’s not already come true. This is the power of seeing the invisible. Before what you are thinking and dreaming about come into reality, you must make it a reality on your mind. You have to make or carve a positive or success-oriented tattoo on your mind, so it will affect your feeling and action towards your success.
If you think that you make more negative or failure-oriented tattoo on your mind, rush; remove those tattoos before they affect you. While tattoo on the body cannot be removed, you are free and have full authority to remove tattoo on your mind because it is your mind, not belongs to other. You have the power to remove and change them with positive, uplifting and success-supported tattoo. Don’t make a fool on yourself by carving your precious mind with dirty rubbish. If you believe you are the winner and champion of our own life, you have made a tattoo on your mind with word “I am the winner and champion”. If you believe that you are a loser and do not deserve success, it means you have carved you mind with very bad tattoo on your mind, either.
Once again, believe in yourself and make more positive, uplifting, success-oriented, motivational and inspirational tattoos and let them drive you fast into great success.
